Days @ ALLSEC

I am victim of call centre culture. Even though I have got a job in one of the top MNCs, I decided to work in a call centre till I get my call from the IT company. My Best Friend Prashu along with me got through 4 rounds [weird (“,) ] of selection process and we found ourselves at Allsec Technologies Ltd. the following week. I worked in Allsec for more than a month and learnt a lot of stuff from my trainer Luke Johnston. He is one among those whom I admire the most. The way he conducts himself is amazing and one has to learn how to react and express himself at certain situations from Luke. During my working days, I heard one saying “he’s my role model dude”. That’s the recognition one has to get in his so called company.

How can you identify me at Allsec. Well… I got a chance to name myself, that too in American Style. Hmmm… Doing research for about half an hour, I ended up in Matt Sanders [inspired from Heroes (“,) he he… ] People calling me Matt... Matt... Matt... it still sounds in my ears :-)

There were 20 of us in the batch and we were divided into three teams. That was the time where I met this girl named Erika Parker who was in my team. She became close to me in such a way that she always wants to sit next to me. I enjoyed her companionship (“,) and I thought that I had made one good friend at Allsec.

The script reading sessions that we had were mind-blowing and I couldn’t forget the moment when Luke told me that I was singing instead of reading. [lolz…] We practiced script reading among ourselves on the phone where one has to represent the company and the other should act as a customer. During the initial days of training, Luke trained us on American accent right from Numerals, English letters to words. [For eg, we need to pronounce “H” as “Aich” ] We felt as if we were in the primary school. [he he… (“,) ] We had so much fun during that time. How can I forget that Maggi Tomato Soup that I had during my breaks. Damn I really miss that. Those days are gone :-(

8 hours per day and 6 days per week ran very fast after joining Allsec. I had to board the bus before 830hrs from CMBT in order to be on time at the office. Traveling in MTC buses for a month was quite interesting and I enjoyed it because I wasn’t used to the MTC buses right from my childhood. [he he… ]

On the whole, I enjoyed my life at Allsec. It simply Rocked! ;-)

Back To The Future

A Classic! One of the Best Steven Spielberg Productions. A Sci-Fi movie – based on a character called Marty Mcfly who traveled back in time and changed the course of the future with the help of a Time Machine that was invented by his uncle Doc. This film beautifully pictures the consequences of using the time machine as well.

A trilogy released in 1985, 89 and 90. The screenplay in the first two parts are really amazing and they had linked each and every scene, dialogue and character in a attention-grabbing way. Definitely this picture would have rocked in 1985. When Marty goes back to 1955, more hilarious things happen and I couldn’t stop laughing till the end of the movie. The facts and details that they have handled in the film is very fascinating and it is more than just-a-movie that is being created in today’s making.

P.S: Part I is really awesome. II is Good and III is Average.

Go! Go! Go!

Well.... On seeing this title, one could be baffled while trying to figure out what this post could be. If you are a person who loves to game online then it would be much more easier to identify. Yes! its a well known radio command in COUNTER-STRIKE. I am posting here about counter strike is just because playing CS has been my passion for the past two years. [i think i have created much hype here (",)]

This game came into my life when one of my best friends[Hari mama] came to my house with CS-Condition Zero dvd... i really had a very tough time with my PC a year back because playing games was much more difficult in a system that ran on 700MHz processor speed. I loved the game a lot and besides just mere shooting, the most fascinating thing is its radio and voice commands which helps you a lot to play as a team as done in reality.

However i was enjoying the game only for a few days, just because of continuous gaming, my system crashed [lolz.... (",)] After some days, i decided to borrow Hari's PC for a couple of days just to play CS. At that time i never knew of playing online. [sounds funny :p] I was just accomplishing missions that were given in the condition zero. After i got my laptop, i tried playing CS online with Joel. [sad Joel…. He faced Brutal Death... he he… (",)]

From that day on, we dragged many people into CS and started our own MIT server everyday. It was really fun when we talked about the peculiar incidents that had happened and used to tease people who faced the so called ultimate-comedy-death in the last day's game. To be honest, even i was teased by them sometimes. [you know, it just happens.. he he....(",)]

If you find any one with the name :: MAFIA :: in the public server, then certainly you can narrow down to the one and only Jayku. [he he.... ]

The final year of my college was nothing but full of shooting, backing up, sniping, camping, defusing, sometimes planting and most often Lagging! (",)

I was addicted to this game in such a way that I could write pages and pages about this game. However i even wanted the bloggers to go thro’ this post. So to be short, I would like to say that COUNTER-STRIKE just Rocks!

A Series FREAK!

I never thought i would watch teleserials in my life. I have become a TV series Freak now... I have started searching top rated teleserials in the net.

Before Jan '08:

How can one create damn mega teleserials. but there's no use in beating the dead horse unless people realise that they are wasting their time in watching these serials. one can feel what i feel when one constantly watches ARASI and KOLANGAL for a month. OMG..... you will just attempt suicide when u see the twists and thrills created by the soap director. Moreover the most horrifying thing happens when you are in the middle of a conversation where people start discussing about the so called mokka serials. However its funny when you hear people blaming and criticising the villain in their own slang. I have experienced this thing when my neighbour (who doesnt have TV in her house and came to watch a series in my house) started rebuking the anti-hero in profanity... lolz

After Jan '08:

"oh my god.... what a awesome script.... what a screenplay... how can one create an interesting series like this...."
These were my thoughts when i saw two famous series "HEROES" and "AVATAR:THE LAST AIRBENDER".

Avatar:The Last AirBender - a kool animation series. i liked the characters especially Katara, Azula, Uncle and Sakka. Its the story of a kid (AVATAR) whose aim is to restore peace in the world by destroying the FIRELORD who desparately wants the world to be under his control. This series deserves the IMDB rating of "9.3". So far 55 episodes are out in air and according to me, Avatar is a series with 55 episodes of pure fun. Still 5 episodes are yet to be released.

Heroes - a series based on supernatural powers. Senthil Ramamurthy, a Indo-American actor plays the role of scientist. He was well known for his research on supernatural powers and became famous only after this TV series. One power that i admire the most is the ability to bend the time-space continuum. All the characters are well linked and you will always anticipate whats gonna happen next. That was the ambience created by TIM KREIG throughout the entire series. Till now i have watched 2 seasons. Eagerly waiting for the third season to be out! It has got a IMDB rating of "8.4"

I would say Avatar and Heroes a MUST-SEE series for everyone.
